Shaped Nappies usually comprise of two parts, the nappy itself and a waterproof outer cover. The waterproof cover only needs to be washed if it gets dirty, or after a few nappy changes. Shaped nappies are cheaper than All in Ones, they will do several babies and they are easy to use.

Shaped nappies can come in either one size, or sized. The one size nappies 'grow' with your baby, so you only need to buy one set of nappies. This is particularly useful if you have more than one child in nappies. You can purchase wraps of different sizes to cover the nappy and keep it waterproof. As the wraps do not need washing every time, then you probably only need about 4 wraps of each size.
